The 41st Annual PNA Winter Festival and Craft Fair

Checking off another personal goal this weekend. The 41st annual Winter Festival and Craft Fair at the Phinney Center is a juried art and craft fair and a Seattle tradition. I am super excited to have been selected as one of this years participating artists.

Watercolors of Burano, Italy, ready for framing.

I’ll have all new work at the Festival, most of it framed and wall ready. Framing is such an important step. My preference is a museum style shadow box frame that allows the painting to float just slightly, exposing the deckle edge of the paper and casting a slight shadow within the frame. Shop local and shop Art!

Ready for the PNA Winter Festival and Craft Fair!

The booth is small but it will be mighty! I’ll have it covered in framed artwork from top to bottom. My crafty and talented son will help me with technical details of making sure my walls are stable and well lit. My creative and super hip daughter will be my personal stylist for the weekend. My super supportive husband will be handing out business cards and reminded his friends that their partners would be thrilled to receive the gift of Ameen’s art this holiday season!

Selfie just before the crowds!!!
